This post is much overdue. I have been pretty busy recently. This was actually from May 9th. Sunday morning ended up being fairly windy, it actually rained pretty good later in the afternoon. We got out and went to he park, thinking it would be a good day to fly a kite for the first time.

Yesterday and today turned out to be really nice, sunny days. About time, it has been miserable for a couple of weeks. We spent some time at the park and had lots of fun. Hoping to get the trailer out to the lot tomorrow. This is a picture of a tree in our backyard, flowering up nicely.

Tuesday was a miserable, wet rainy day. Bundled up the kids extra warm for their first day of soccer. It ended early due to the cold, but I think most of the kids at the field were wanting to stay longer than the adults. Emma is doing great now, running fast and kicking the ball really well. I think she will have lots of fun this year.

Last Sunday, I participated in a 2.5 hour race put on by the guys at SimHQ. This was the first time I had ever done an online race longer than an hour, and it was really interesting. I created a video of it:

What was also interesting is that this race had the biggest participation of any race put on by SimHQ, 31 on the starting grid. There is a short article on it here
Unfortunately, I wasn’t doing well on my laptimes, so I wasn’t in any contention...

Got the trailer at home, and just getting the lot ready for it. Have the water tank in place and filled, and I am meeting the electrician out there tomorrow.
Right now, it is barely fitting in the driveway:

This is the floor plan of it, which we really like, separate back room for the kids, its an awesome layout!

Got this one from inter-library loan from the Saskatoon Public Library. I found out about this one after reading a book on Jacques Villeneuve’s first season in Formula 1. I will post on that book later. This book is the story of his father, Gilles Villeneuve, who died in a crash during qualifying for the Belgium Grand Prix at Zolder in 1982.
I am going to start a list of books that I am reading, have read and want to read and put it in this site. Since I just picked this book up, I thought I might...

Haven’t blogged forever. I just am going to make this short, and do a couple points of what’s new since the last time:
Emma’s birthday, five years old, it just amazes me how much and fast she is growing up
Work is busy, on the final month or so of the Engineering project. Hopefully GIS project will be approved next week.
We just bought a new trailer, and a lot to put it on even :) The trailer is new and will be ready from the manufacturer mid-April. We take possession of the lot tomorrow!!
Renovations have been stalled for a while on the house, but just getting back into going at it again. We are almost done the 3rd floor, I will post some pictures when it is done. Have been making phone calls to different trades to get some various other projects going on the house.
Well, good enough for now, I will work on keeping this more...

Wow!!!!
So our baby is 3 years old now. His birthday was on Sunday, and it was lots of fun. He had Keaton and 'Baby Lochlin' over for friends, which was nice. He got pretty excited about all of his presents and kept stopping to play instead of unwrapping. That night was his last night with his sucky, and he surprisingly did really well with not having it the last two nights. Here is a picture of him about to blow out his candle on his cake, Keaton ending up helping him to blow it out.

So, left work at 12:00 on Wednesday so we could drive to Saskatoon for the Wiggles concert. Bad timing, Morgan was starting to feel bad, the previous night he woke up aa couple times and had a bit of a fever. At the concert he definitely wasn't feeling well, and got fussy before the show started. Once it did start, he pretty much zoned out and just stared.

He laughed once at least (at Captain Feathersword), but we both felt really bad for him. Emma had a real good time, and gave a 'high-five' to Sam. She was dancing around, and really enjoyed the show. It was a fun time. We stayed in S'toon for the next day, and Morgan slept in until 11:00, which is pretty much unheard of. He had a pretty good fever in the night, and that morning, but was starting to feel better by later in the...
